Pan Seared Fish and Shrimp
Pan Seared Fish with Shrimp is an easy restaurant style seafood classic and perfect for a delish light bite while things heat up outside

- 4 fish fillets mild tasting white fish is best
- 1/2 lb uncooked shrimp
- 1 TBS cajun seasoning
- 1 TBS garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 TBS garlic minced
- 1/2 smoked sausage link chopped (optional)
- 1 md lemon juice fresh
- 1/2 c white wine dry
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 TBS butter unsalted
- 3 TBS olive oil extra virgin
- more salt and pepper and spices to taste
Lightly brush seafood with 1/3 of the oil
Sprinkle evenly 1/3 of the spices (cajun seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper)
on both sides
In a heated skillet, add remaining olive oil.
Lightly brown fish and shrimp. This should take about 2-3 minutes do not cook all the way
remove from pan and set aside
add butter crisp sausage about 2-3 minutes
then add garlic cook until fragrant
wine and lemon juice cook for an additional 2-3 minutes
add cream cook stir well
return fish and shrimp to pan cover and cook until seafood is done
about 3-4 minutes
remove from heat
serve and enjoy!
